OPがまるでミニエピソードみたいで好きだけど、シーズン2のOPと違って何かと忙しすぎて全部追いきれなかったよ。
まあ、時間が解決してくれるでしょ。
それはさておき、お気に入りのドタバタ四人組が帰ってきてうれしいな。
前のシーズンは水曜日に見る番組がなかったからね。
でも、あれが今シーズンのクリスの唯一の登場じゃないといいなあ…。
I like that the OP is basically a mini-episode of the show, but unlike Season 2’s OP some things were happening so fast I couldn’t register them all. Guess that won’t be a problem over time. Otherwise, having our favorite clownshow quartet back is a great thing, last season I didn’t have any shows to watch on Wednesday. I really hope that wasn’t Chris’ only appearance this season though…

「TOMORROW」と「Growing Up」がいかにも小さなこのすば風アドベンチャーって感じで、めちゃくちゃ好き。
これがあるからこそ、彼らの個性が際立ってるし、だから「TOMORROW」は私のオールタイムベスト3オープニングに入ってるんだよね。
I love that TOMORROW and Growing Up are both basically mini Konosuba adventures. It gives them a lot more personality, and is part of why TOMORROW is in my top 3 ops of all time.

No reintroductions, just throwing us right back into the Konosuba shenanigans. I kind of love it. Also, that moment when you realise the magic mallet was one of Aqua’s cheat items she gave out to people like Kazuma. That dead guy was isekai’d into the world. And finally, it’s rare to see Darkness this legitimately embarrassed and mortified over something. She must *really* not like the idea of her team meeting the princess!

例えば、ある時彼女は死んだと思った3人の男性に祈り、彼らがからかってたことに真剣に言及してたんだ。
でもね、実はアクアが彼らを生き返らせてて、彼女の言ったこと全部聞かれちゃってたんだよ。
それにね、彼女の名前「ララティーナ」にもめちゃくちゃ恥ずかしがってる。
そして、彼女のチームが姫に会うことになったら、めっちゃ恥ずかしいと思ってるんだって（まぁ、正直なところ、すごくわかるけどね）。
She doesn’t like being legitimately embarrassed. Like the time she prayed for three guys who died to the dullahan, earnestly talking about the things they teased her about, before finding out Aqua revived them and they heard everything she said. And of course she’s most notably embarrassed by her name, Lalatina. And evidently she’d be very embarrassed by her team meeting the princess (and quite understandably, honestly).

冒頭でちょっと夢のシーンがあるけど、それは正直カズマが人気者になっちゃうっていう設定にフォーカスしていて、本筋とはあんまり関係ないんだよね。
その後、アニメはもう視聴者が何が起こっているか知ってる前提で進んじゃうから。
They do a bit at the beginning as a dream, but that honestly focuses more on Kazuma’s popular phase rather than anything that actually happened in the movie. And after that the anime basically just jumps in assuming that you know what’s going on.

特にお気に入りは、アクアが二択で迷ったときは楽な方を選べっていう神職者としてのアドバイスしてたことかな。
You know it’s a Konosuba episode when there are so many memable moments and jokes that you don’t know which one to highlight. I think the one I liked the most was Aqua giving her priestly advice to make the easy choice when you are unsure between 2 options.

That monster who preys upon the good nature of travellers but Kazuma shows up instead. The most upsetting thing for Kazuma was that the monster could speak properly the whole time.

「このすば」が帰ってきたぞ、そして相変わらずの勢いだ。
何度も大声で笑っちゃったよ。
カズマがシルビアとのトラウマで修行僧になろうとして、特にめぐみんがそれを阻止しようとするシーンなんか最高。
ちょっとした心温まるシーンもあるし、甲斐田さんが声を担当する植物モンスターが一行を試練に挑ませるんだ。
最後は初代プリンセスに会うための招待状で締めくくり。
初回からしてまさに圧巻。
キャラたちの掛け合いもバッチリ。
また「このすば」が見れて嬉しいよ。
Konosuba is back and it is not missing a beat. Had me laughing out loud repeatedly. From Kazuma and his PTSD with Sylvia causing him to try and become a monk with everyone attempting to halt it.. especially Megumin. A few sweet moments and.. A plant monster voiced by Ami Koshimizu that puts the party to the test. All ending with an iniitation to meet the first princess. An absolute tour de force of a first episode and the character banter was perfect. Good to have Konosuba back.

小説の中でもダクネスは割と普通の部類だよね。たしかにちょっとエッチなシーンもあるけど、変な趣味を除けばめっちゃ冷静で、人のために色々やってくれるし。

ミミックモンスターに関しては、本当に「ファイアレンの悪魔たち」を見直すきっかけになるよね（笑）。まさかの「おっと、話せるじゃん！」ってなって、カズマみたいな奴が即座にひれ伏すっていうのが笑える。
