刑事を名乗る仏山という男に連行された太陽。敵を殴り倒している太陽の映像が、何故か闇サイトで公開されていたのだ！様々な悪行に少年ひとりの犯行とは到底考えられないと、仏山は太陽が裏で秘密組織に関わっていると疑うが、共犯者の情報は一切入手できていないらしい…。取り調べと称した、手段を選ばない理不尽な拷問に耐える太陽。さらに仏山は、六美の存在をちらつかせ脅しをかけるが、太陽はあることに気付き…!?

特に六美が太陽からバラをもらって顔を真っ赤にして喜んでいるのを見ると、バラが少し傷ついていたとしても（それがむしろ個性を加えているけど）、彼女にとってどれだけ意味があるのかが伝わってくるね。それに手をつないでるし！
Especially watching Mutsumi blush so hard over Taiyo giving her a rose and seeing how much that meant to her, even if it was a little damaged (but that added character). Plus handholding!

任務が終わる前から彼女のことを考えていたってことがわかるじゃん。
I was glad to see him give her the damaged rose instead of buying a new one. Just shows he was thinking of her even before the mission was over.

だから「夜桜」は日曜日に放送されるんだよ。
一週間の疲れがこれでスッキリ洗い流される感じ。
ただ、反面で気をつけないといけないのが、糖分の取りすぎにならないように食事をコントロールすることだね。
This is why Yozakura air on Sunday. All the fatigue you get this week washed away just like this. On the flip side you need to control your diet so you don’t get much sugar overdose.

この番組、スパイのクレイジーで危険なドタバタがあるけど、めっちゃ楽しくてホッコリするし、ロマンチックだよね。
This show is so fun, wholesome, and romantic despite all the crazy and deadly spy hijinks.

正直、彼が六美のことが好きだからって理由だけだったらいいのにね。
でも、なんとなく彼の家族もスパイだったりして、その車の事故もただの「事故」じゃなかったりするのかもしれないって思ってる。
I’d honestly really like if it’s legitimately only because of his feelings for Mutsumi, but I’m assuming his family was also a spy family and the car accident was less of an “accident” than we are led to believe.

要するに、彼が急成長したのは、六美を守りたいっていう気持ちが原動力だったんだよね。
あのエピソード忘れないでよ、自分を追い詰めて疲れ果てて倒れちゃったやつ。
それも全部、六実の夫として、そして夜桜家族の一員になるためだったわけ。
ちょっと見逃しがちだけど、この話、実は数週間とか数ヶ月の間に進行しているんだよ。
時間が飛んでるシーンも多いし、太陽は夜桜家のみんなから直接手取り足取り訓練受けてるわけ。
そして、あいつらがどれだけ超人的かももう見てるよね。
だから太陽が見せる超人的な活躍は、夜桜家でのトレーニングと、六美を守りたいっていう強い願望の結果なんだよ。
I’d say his feelings for Mutsumi and wanting to protect her is definitely the main cause for his rapid growth. Don’t forget the episode where he pushed himself too hard and practically collapsed from exhaustion. All so he can become truly become part of the Yozakura family and as Mutsumi’s husband. I mean, it’s easy to miss, but the whole stuff takes place in a matter of weeks or even months. There’s plenty of time skips happening and Taiyo is getting lots of hands-on training from every member in the Yozakura family and we’ve seen how superhuman they all are. So all of his superhuman feats have been the result of his training with the Yozakura and his overwhelming desire to protect Mutsumi.

うん、今じゃあんまり注目されてないのが残念だよね。
この番組、マジで大好き。
とんでもない設定を全力で楽しんでる感じがたまらない。
それが最高だと思うんだ。
あと、太陽がMCで、クレイジーな家族の中で生き延びようとしてる姿とか、好きな人と近づきたいのに振り回されるのも、なんかいいよね。
Yeah, it’s unfortunate it seems to be very overlooked now. I love this show. It revels in its absurdity without hesitation, and that makes it gold for me. I also like Taiyo as MC just trying to survive this insane family and the hijinks they put him through while he wants to be close to the one he loves.

正直言ってさ、今アニメが好きなら、シーズンの後半になったらもう天国だよ。
そこでマンガがリズムを掴み始めるんだから。
Honestly if you love the anime now, you will be in heaven when we get to the second half of the season. That’s man the manga started finding its rhythm.

残念ながら、このアニメーションと映像技術はそんなにパワフルじゃなくて、大勢の観客を引きつけるにはちょっと力不足かな。
ディズニー独占作品ってのもあんまりプラスには働いてないし。
でもね、「戦隊大失格」もディズニー独占だけど、あっちはまあまあ人気あるんだよね。
Unfortunately, the animation and cinematography is just not strong enough to grab huge audiences. Being a Disney exclusive doesn’t help, but Go Go Loser Ranger is one as well and it’s popularity is okay

太陽、訓練ごとにどんどん人間離れしてってるよな笑。
今回のミッションでまた見た目じゃ判断できないってことがよくわかったわ。
最初はあのラブラブカップルがターゲットだと思ってたんだけどね。
太陽ーの思い描いてたデートとは違ったかもしれないけど、結局はなかなかいい感じに終わったよね。
あの二人、マジでかわいいよ。
Taiyo’s definitely becoming less human every training mission he gets put through lol. This new mission really shows you can’t judge a book by its cover. I figured it was gonna be the “lovey dovey”couple that was the target. The date might not have gone the way Taiyo wanted, but it was still quite nice in the end. Those two are adorable.

聖司にとって、凶一郎は「会うたびに頭痛が増す友達」みたいなもんだよね。
しかも凶一郎、学校にいても太陽の訓練をやめないんだから、仕事とプライベートのバランス最悪だよね。
さらに、もはや寝ないことを自慢げに話す凶一郎には笑っちゃうよ。
でも、デートミッションは好きだな。
六美は自分で身を守れる自信があって、太陽に安心感を与えるのがいいね。
太陽もいいやつで、六美にとって記憶に残るデートにしようと思ってるのが素敵。
理想的なデートじゃなかったかもしれないけど、観覧車での終わり方は本当に心温まるね。
Seiji def views Kyoichiro as that one friend that the more he sees him the bigger headache he gets. Kyoichiro is also training Taiyo even when he is at school. Well that’s not ideal work-life balance. Kyoichiro really admitting he never sleeps any more like it’s a good thing lmao. I do love the date mission. Mutsumi has that confidence that she can defend herself. Giving Taiyo reassurance was nice. Taiyo is a good man for wanting to make the mission also a memorable date for Mutsumi to remember. It might not have been an ideal date but the ending on the Ferris wheel was very wholesome.

変わったカップルたちが、それぞれのスタイルで堂々とやってるのが良かった。
そして、六美が目指してた彼との観覧車デートが実現して、良かったね！
Pretty cute episode. I like how all those weird couples were just doing their own thing in their own style unapologetically. And a good win for Mutsumi in getting the ferris wheel ride with her boy that she was looking for.

最初の4話はあんまり楽しめなかったけど、このエピソードはなかなか良かったな。
個人的に、ショーの中で太陽と六美の関係が一番の見どころで、二人がデートするシーンや、クラスでモールス信号を使ってコミュニケーションを取るって発見するのが良かったよ。
ストーリーは、高ストレスな仕事について、また、パートナーに対して手を抜かないように追加の努力が必要だっていう良いポイントを突いていて、そこがこのちょっとばかばかしいコメディ設定にリアリズムを加えているんだ。
After not enjoying the first four episodes too much, this one was pretty good. Taiyo and Mutsumi’s relationship is the strongest part of the show for me, so seeing them get to go on a date together (and realize that they can talk to each other in class using morse code) was nice. The story makes a good point too about high-stress jobs and needing to put in that extra effort not to just “phone it in” with their partner, which adds some realism to the otherwise kind of absurd comedy setup.

そうそう、スパイのやりとりがいつもとんでもなくアブサードだけど、アニメには家族関係のリアルな部分があって、それがハマるんだよね。
Glad to have you on board! Yeah, the spy shenanigans are always absurd, but I do think there is a grounded core to the family relationships in the show, which does hook me

ラブラブカップルが怪しいカップルたちと一緒に現れた瞬間、何か怪しいと思ったよ。
太陽はもう半分寝てるけど、その代わりに夢遊病になっちゃったみたい。
聖司がテスト中に太陽に無理やり真実の水を飲ませたの、最高だった。
ラブラブカップルって、無茶苦茶やりながらも人に退場を促すのが優しいよね。
スーツの男がコートの中に手を入れたとき、すぐに彼がスーツの女性に婚約指輪を出すんだろうなって思ったよ。
ジェットコースターで寝てる太陽、めちゃくちゃ笑った。
So we’re getting Ayaka next week. The moment the lovey dovey couple appeared in all scenes with the suspected couples, I knew they were sus. Taiyo can now be half asleep but at the cost of sleepwalking. I love how Seiji just shoved the truth serum water at Taiyo’s mouth during the test. I love how the lovey dovey couple are nice enough to tell people to leave even though they fire recklessly. The moment the guy in the suit put his hand in his coat, I knew he would pull out an engagement ring for the lady in the suit. Taiyo sleeping on the roller coaster was hilarious.
